Teasel Theatre Company – new in Birmingham

Teasel, a theatre company making original and adapted devised work for a broad range of audiences, has recently relocated to Birmingham and is looking forward to meeting West Midlands collaborators.

Performers, designers, producers, directors, technicians and other artists are encouraged to get in touch. Forthcoming projects include Dreams To Her Father, development of which has been funded by Arts Council England and The Wellcome Trust. Based on a true story, it tells the story of a small girl’s extraordinary dreams and the devastating effect of her death on her family, set against the backdrop of 1930s Germany and a dark chapter in the history of psychiatry.

Artistic Director, Ed Jaspers, will be performing a short taster of Teasel’s current touring show, Grisly Tales From Tumblewater, as part of Bite Size at Warwick Arts Centre on Saturday 10th March.

Information about the company and its projects are available at www.teaseltheatre.co.uk or by emailing info@teaseltheatre.co.uk.
